Gogirl.com

Hey Ladies!!!!
I came across this website with cute little everyday problem solving items. And of course I am a sucker for packaging and it is way cute.

Most days I manage to get deodorant on my shirt. What is a girl to do!!!!
When we go restaurants and there is no place to out our purse. We spend money on our purses just to put them on the grungy floor.
There is lint on our sweaters and pants.
These everyday dilemmas can be fix with these cute inventions.

Here is the 'Smudge Sponge.'You use it dry to erase that deodorant spot we just happen to have on the side of our shirt.

We carry our lives' in our purse. A lint roller is just way to bulky. So here are 'Lint- on-the Go-Sheets. Comes in a set of 20 and fits easily in our bulky bags.

Here is my fave: The Hold on 2 Love-Purse Hangers
Keep your purse in sight and away from the floor with this chic chrome plated fold-up purse hanger.

Ladies go check the website out for yourselves.

Website will be coming soon and I will post it once he has completed it. So if anyone knows of a person who needs work done to the house call T. He does everything from Kitchen/Bathroom re-modeling, to tile and wood flooring, to home additions.

Re-Using Holiday Palettes

Make-up palettes are great for gifts. I love on the go palettes that I can fit in my purse, but sometimes the palettes like the Benefit "Celebutante" does not fit for my on the go style. So I broke apart the box and then realized that it would be the perfect fit in one of my palettes. I took out the lip glosses on the ends of the palette and the blush in the center of the palette and made a new color shade palette. How cool! It feels like a whole new palette.

So here is the new palette. The colors starting from left to right: Benefit 'dandy brandy, MAC 'Beauty Marked, Mac 'Mink Pink, Center: 2 Elizabeth Arden Shadows from another palette, MAC ' Showstopper, MAC 'Honey Lust, and Benefit ' leggy'.

I did the same for another palette and took out all the lipglosses in exchange for eyeshadows.

Here are the colors:
Blushes: Honour and Prism
Eyeshadows: Gesso, Shroom, Black Tied, Mystery, Crystal and Trax
The eyeshadow to the right came out of an Estee Lauder Palette

These palettes you can take out the eyeshadow and fit it with any eyeshadow or blush that will fit.

Make-up Looks

Sucker for Packaging

Mac's newest collection coming out in March has the cutest packaging ever. The collection is 'Give Me Liberty of London." I have fallen into the web of distinct Mac packaging with their Neo-Sci Fi collection back in summer of '07 with the bright orange pacakaging. And the same for Mac's Style Warrior animalistic collection.

Neo Sci-Fi

Now Mac's latest collection : Give Me Liberty of London

Isn't the packaging adorable. Love it! Check out more of the packaging and color schemes at http://www.temptalia.com/ she has the latest reviews of all things related to make-up.

Reading is good for the soul and escape from reality

I have never been much of a reader until I stumbled upon "Veil of Roses." I literally could not put this book down and when I was finished I wanted more. Then the same author of "Veil of Roses" wrote another book : One True Theory of Love" and instantly fell in love with that book also. Currently I am reading " Belong to Me" and am only on the 4th chapter. I recommend these books for personal enjoyment or escape from reality.

Benefit " Celebutante"

I recieved this kit as a Birthday Present. I have been using Benefit products for years now such as the Badgal, High Beam, Boi-ing , creasless cream shadow and some kinda gorgeous. I have been tempted to try and buy their eyeshadows but I have plenty to use up first. OMG! The eyeshadows are creamy and blendable. The two eyeshadows included are: leggy ( a great highlight color) and dandy brandy ( a great brown) Also I have never tried their lipsticks but fell in love with lady's choice. It is the perfect peachy nude color and very creamy. The blush Dallas is a perfect shade. This set is $34 and a great way to experiment with sample Benefit products. The only downside to this ( as i received this as a gift) is liking the products so much that I want to buy the full size version. But the mini sizes will last a while like the lipsticks , eyeshadow and blush.

Beauty on a Budget ( Fave Drugstore Products)

Lipgloss: Sally Girl Mini Lip Gloss

These little mini lipglosses are perfect for sticking them in your back pocket or a clutch when going out. These gloss smell like bubble gum and only under a dollar. Have two: LOL and Spank.

Mascara: LashBlast
I was skeptical in trying this mascara. I had been using Benefit Bad Gal ($19) for years. Expensive. I know. I loved the Badgal but my budget has changed. You can buy 2 Lashblast at target for under $10. I accidentally purchased Lashblast in Brown-Black but it did not matter because I loved how the bristles separated and voluminzed my lashes. My lashes were not clumpy. Love it!

Gel Eyeliner: Femme Couture

Sally's is my best kept secret for budget friendly make-up. I love this gel eyeliner and for an eyeliner under $6 and works as comparable to Bobbi Brown's gel eyeliner I am in. I did purchase Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner ($21) kinda steep for my budget today. The reviews were high on this product and I decided to try it. I loved it. It is creamy, long-wearing, smudge resistant and easy to apply. I have re-purchased this product for the second time going onto my third. I use this gel eye-liner everyday and I honestly love it.

Sally Eyeshadow Connecting Compacts:

These eye shadows are under $2. Now not all of them have good color pay off. The ones that I own and use that I love and have great color pay off are : Olive, Charcoal,Auburn, Brick, Bronze, Copper ( My Fave) and Orange Crush. I use them over my NYX Jumbo pencils or my UDPP( Urban Decay Primer Potion) These colors are pigmented and blend well. I have not tried all the colors but I did get Beige and the consistency is not the same. How can you lose with eye shadows under $2. A great thing about the packaging is that you can create your own color palette by connecting the eyeshadow together.

Eyeshadow Base:
I was introduced to this product on Youtube. So many Guru's raved about these pencils. So I wanted them. I have Milk, French Fries, Gold, Rust and Bronze. I love them all. I use them as base to enhance my eyeshadow color or alone. They are smooth, glide on well and blend easily.

Bronzer: N.Y.C. Sun 2 Sun I bought this on a whim at target. I loved the colors and was on a bronzer mission. I love the application on the bronzer although might be a bit shimmery for some but I love shimmer so for me no problem. I use the bronze color as my bronzer using the Big 3 method around the temples of the head to cheeks and then a bit down the next. I use the gold color as my highlight under my eyes and than my nose. I use this product as eyeshadow as well. The combination of the two colors looks perfect during the summer months.

Primer: Rimmel Fix and Perfect
I have never used primers before and this was the first primer that I have used. When I first opened it I saw that it was a peachy color and reminded me of Benefit That Gal. I never purchased That Gal for it runs about $28 and Fix and Perfect is around $7. So I pick Rimmel up at Target. Fix and perfect provides my skin a base and evens out my skin tone. The color comes out peachy but blends into the skin evenly. I notice that my face becomes less oily and my foundation goes on much more smoothly. Love it!

Foundation: Revlon ColorStay

I have this in Medium Beige ( which is a bit to light for me) and Warm Gold ( A bit orangy for me) but combine the two together a I get a pretty good match for my skin tone. I love how natural it looks. The only draw back is that you have to work quickly when applying because the foundation does dry fast. Just buff it in an you are good to go. Another plus is that CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aid have Bogo sales and can pick up 2 for the price of one. Great deal!

Pixwoo Make-up for Courtney Love

I watched Pixiwoo do a Courtney Love Request using Illamasqua products and I was like the real Courtney Love. When I showered I played Courtney Love's song. My favorite songs from her Celebrity Skin album: Malibu, Dying, Reasons to be Beautiful and Celebrity Skin. I also love her debut album Live Through This. On my yahoo main page I saw on Bellasugar Courtney Love's snippit from Twitter Video giving props to Fashion Face TV. Who doesn't love Sam and Nic! http://pixiwoo.blogspot.com/

Discovering the Underworld Of Youtube Make-up!

I first hit the scene of youtube Make-up during the Fall of 2008. I was out of work and just rummaging online when I discovered the youtube gurus of Kandee Johnson, Pixiwoo, MakeupGeek and so on. I fell inlove. I too fell in to the spell of Youtube videos watching hours of make-up applications. I contemplating making my own videos but then again I was camera shy. So this is where blogging comes in. I know that there are plenty of make-up guru bloggers and so I also want to put my two cents into what I love. Make-up that is! So here I am blogging for the first time and I feel invorgating, nervous and anxious in creating my new blog.
